OMAR Shriners Smoke on the Beach BBQ Competition (Oct 2-3)
The Shriners are SMOKIN' again. This time in the Sea Mist Parking Lot! It's a BBQ lovers haven with up to 20 cookers all lined up in rows, cooking up some of the best BBQ you have ever tasted. Plus, there is an "Anything Butt..." contest the night before with samplings of different dishes made special by the chefs themselves. Please join us for one or both events. The price is right with plenty of food, refreshments, beer on tap, wine, and more.

32nd Annual Taste of the Town (Oct 6)
Poised as the Grand Strand's largest culinary/social event of the year and Myrtle Beach's original food festival, the 32nd Annual Taste of the Town will include over 50+ area restaurants serving up freshly prepared appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Each booth will offer delectable "Tapas-style" items from their menus for $1-$4 each. Food tickets will be sold inside the Convention Center. Live entertainment for all ages, Silent Auction and more. All proceeds from this event will benefit St. Andrew Catholic School.

2015 Conway Ghost Walk : Spirits of the Lowcountry (Oct 22-24)
Professional storytellers weave tales of lowcountry haunts through the shadowy streets of downtown Conway. This Halloween event features seven storytellers sharing tales that are always spooky, sometimes humorous and guaranteed to become part of your family's Halloween tradition. Reservations are suggested, but tour-goers may also visit the box office at the Conway Visitors Center on tour nights to purchase walk-up tickets for the next available tour. Boo-quarium Bash (Oct 31)
Ripley's Aquarium will be hosting their annual Boo-quarium Bash on Saturday October 31, 2015 from 1pm-6pm. This is a free event with paid Aquarium Admissions. Come dressed to impress for the Costume Parade and Contest. We will also have fun activities ongoing for everyone - from trick or treating in teh Aquarium, pumpkin decorating and more!.
